Webster Mechanical Engineering (WME) provides on-site and laboratory examinations and testing of HVAC systems, fuel gas fired equipment, and other combustion gas generating equipment involved in carbon monoxide poisoning incidents. The examinations include documentation and thorough examinations of all fuel gas fired equipment, the fuel systems, the combustion gas exhaust flues, the HVAC ductwork, the exhaust and ventilation fans, and the overall construction of the structure to determine the source of the carbon monoxide.
On-site examination includes the operational testing of the fuel gas equipment while monitoring carbon monoxide concentrations within the structure. Laboratory examinations and testing is conducted on the individual components of the carbon monoxide generating equipment to determine the conditions which led to the generation of carbon monoxide.
